Join us at Sad Monkey Mercantile and compete in our first PINTwood Derby on an official derby track! Individuals and company sponsors are invited to participate in what’s guaranteed to be a great race! Proceeds will benefit the Youth of America.

Music Bingo
We’re doing Music Bingo from 5–7 PM and it’s gonna be a good time!
🕔 From 5–6, we’re throwing it back with all the best from the 70s and 80s
🕕 Then from 6–7, it’s nothing but 90s and 2000s bangers.
It’s free to play, super chill, and there might even be prizes!
Come hang, grab a drink, and let’s see who really knows their throwback tunes!
July 4th Party at The Monkey!
Join us this July 4th for a party at Sad Monkey! We will have free live music, happy hour all day, free face painting, a watermelon throwing contest, and helicopter tours of Palo Duro Canyon! And be sure to grab a burger or hot dog (or both!) from our guest food truck, Porch Swing Eats & Treatz.
Details regarding the helicopter tours will be coming soon so stay tuned!
Brains & Brews w/ Professor Nick Gerlich
We’re excited to kick off our Brains & Brews series this Saturday from 6-7:30pm at Sad Monkey Hall! Professor Nick Gerlich will be presenting “Postcards From the Rim: Tourism in Palo Duro Canyon” - a lively look at how this stunning canyon has drawn visitors, photographers, and thrill seekers over the years. Expect stories, surprises, and maybe a few laughs, and $3 off draft beer!

Sad Monkey, Happy Kids "Free Guitars 4 Kids" Fundraising Concert
Join us for an unforgettable evening of live music in support of Free Guitars 4 Kids, a nonprofit providing free guitars to underserved children around the world. They’ve given away over 2,500 guitars in 24 states, been featured on Good Morning America, and partnered with legendary artists like Jack Johnson, Cory Wong, Alice Cooper, and Amy Grant! We will have 3 awesome acts performing outside in The Doug-Out stage (if weather permits). The schedule is as follows:
5pm - 5:30pm: Bobcat, One Man Band
5:45pm - 6:45pm: The One and The Only (Featuring Curtains for the Mountains)
7pm - 8pm: Ansley Beedy
